The road to the League is not the only thing to do.
Mining Site↑
Unlocked at two badges. Each dig gives you 12 swings, and what you break out of the wall goes in the bag. Fossils turn up too, and a fossil can be revived into the Pokémon it belonged to.

Battle Tower↑
Opens once you are Champion. The Tower has no top floor; Battle Points are paid up to floor 100 and every floor above that counts only for the Tower ranking, which starts again every month. 3 against 3. Before a run you pick 3 Pokémon from your party or your boxes, and they are frozen for the run. Everything fights at Lv. 50 — your Pokémon and theirs, on every floor — with stats worked out from each Pokémon's own IVs, EVs and nature, so training counts and levelling does not.
- No two Pokémon of the same species, and no two holding the same item.
- No Legendary, Mythical or Ultra Beast Pokémon.
- No items from the bag during a floor, and no experience.
- Your three are fully restored between floors — health, status and PP.
Every opponent has IVs between 28 and 31. What climbs is what is built on top: EVs from nothing to a full spread, how strong a species the floor may field, what its Pokémon carry, and how well the trainer plays. The first floors field what a Pokémon learns by levelling up and a berry; the last ones field full builds with held items, the best of their abilities and moves taught by TM. Trainers have a style - a Dragon Tamer brings dragons, a Scientist lays hazards - and some bring a rain, sun or sand team.
Every seventh floor that has no boss is held by a gatekeeper, a step stronger than the floors around them. The Tower Tycoon waits on floor 21, the Tower Master on floor 49, the Tycoon again on floor 50 with his real team, the Tower Sage on floor 75 and the Tower Sovereign on floor 100. From floor 21 the trainers think a turn ahead, switch out of a lost matchup and send out the best answer to what you have on the field.
By floor 50 every opponent is fully built. Above it the levels stay where they are and the Pokémon get stronger: only the strongest ordinary species by floor 75, then Legendary Pokémon. From floor 76: 1 of 3; from floor 101: 2 of 3; from floor 151: 3 of 3; from floor 201: 3 of 3, 1 of them box Legendaries; from floor 251: 3 of 3, 2 of them box Legendaries; from floor 301: 3 of 3, 3 of them box Legendaries. One loss ends the run; Battle Points are paid out by how high you got.
The ranking goes by the highest floor cleared in one run during the month. On the 1st the top ten are paid, open runs end and are paid out, and it starts again.

Mega Evolution↑
Opens once you are Champion. A Key Stone plus the right Mega Stone lets one Pokémon Mega Evolve for a battle. Stones are won from Master Trainers, who rotate.
Ley Line Sanctum and roamers↑
Opens once you are Champion. A legendary Pokémon holds the Sanctum at Lv. 100, and everybody in the game faces the same one — it rotates on a timer. Roamers move around the region at Lv. 70 and have to be chased down. One attempt each per window.

Two compatible Pokémon left at the daycare produce an egg. A Destiny Knot passes on more IVs; an Everstone passes on a nature; Flame Body and Magma Armor halve the steps to hatch.
